ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW WITH WREATH 28 x 18 SALVAGE
This is a great stained glass window that was salvaged from a Pittsburgh Victorian. The background glass is clear and border glass is clear distorted. The wreath and ribbons are done in shades of green. The original frame is painted on both sides. It measures 28 inches wide by 18 tall and is. 1.75 inch thick. The glass only measures approximately 24.25 by 14 inches. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. There is a small hairline and one piece of glass has a small hole that was filled with black putty, hard to see. There is a slight curve to the glass. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
