OLD ENGLISH LEADED STAINED GLASS WINDOW Pretty Floral 16″ x 21.75″. This Beautiful Stained Glass window is from the top of a “bay” window & dates from the 1920’s & 30’s. The measurements are 14.5″ x 20.25″ Glass size & 16″ x 21.75″ Overall including the frame. The colors in this window are Teal, Red, Tan, Gold and two shades of Green. Most of the glass is Clear. The glass is in perfect condition with no cracks or breaks. The original frame could not be saved so we have reframed this window in a new, painted frame. View My Other Items For Sale. Large Older English Leaded Stained-Glass Semi-Transom Window 28 1/4 X 20
Please Read This Carefully. We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass, especially glass made into sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It’s not unusual at all to find these in our windows, in most cases it’s desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a “crack” is in it, simply run your finger across the line on both sides to “feel” the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it’s simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt on BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can’t crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. The window has pretty Amber, Green & Red and Two (2) Type of Textured White glass. There are no cracks in the glass of this. The window is about 28 1/4 wide and about 20 tall overall. Absolutely beautiful unique set. Total of 6 cracks (3 on each) i put a small piece of blue tape next to all the cracks – see pictures – they do not affect the integrity of the frame.
