Antique Cobalt Blue Iron Frame Church Stained Glass Memorial Window Nyc 1940
Very nice cobalt blue window. In very good condition for age. Salvage from the Bronx section NYC. Frame is 7/8 thick (iron). This window is incredibly strong and has 2 iron rod supports. Glass is textured wavy and full of imperfections. Window has no visible cracks. Could possibly be one hidden in the edge border, but I looked good and there are no issues. There is a hoop welded to the frame on top. FRAME IS SOLID AND STRONG ENOUGH TO LAST ANOTHER HUNDRED YEARS.. But it does have some pitting in the metal. Some people would want to have the light blue tile inscribed with a dedication or memorial.. Or leave as is. It’s a VERY PRETTY window. This window is not lightweight. It weighs about 20 lbs.
