Antique Cobalt Blue Iron Frame Church Stained Glass Memorial Window Nyc 1940

Very nice cobalt blue window. In very good condition for age. Salvage from the Bronx section NYC. Frame is 7/8 thick (iron). This window is incredibly strong and has 2 iron rod supports. Glass is textured wavy and full of imperfections. Window has no visible cracks. Could possibly be one hidden in the edge border, but I looked good and there are no issues. There is a hoop welded to the frame on top. FRAME IS SOLID AND STRONG ENOUGH TO LAST ANOTHER HUNDRED YEARS.. But it does have some pitting in the metal. Some people would want to have the light blue tile inscribed with a dedication or memorial.. Or leave as is. It’s a VERY PRETTY window. This window is not lightweight. It weighs about 20 lbs. Stained Glass Window Panel 4 seasons aspen green turquoise blue gold

“Four Seasons Aspen Tree Forest” Only one! Size 11.5″ x 26″ approx. The aspen fused focal point was created using a combination of techniques and layers. Each window is unique and one of a kind, signed by the artist, Linda Hiatt-Neely. The scene was framed in a gold iridized and sparkly beveled stained glass border. The window is put together with lead came and a sturdy zinc frame. Finally, a black patina applied and the window was waxed for longevity. Also, custom sizes and border color customizable. About the Artists: Robert Neely and Linda Hiatt-Neely have bachelor’s degrees in fine art and have been designing stained glass gifts and windows for since 1985. Linda received her master’s degree in 2011 from Lesley University. Our 5 adult children have also joined us in the studio creating exciting inspiration and unique styles. We use specialty foam, bubble wrap and recycled packing cushion using recycled newspaper end rolls. Absolutely stunning vintage stained glass window/hanging frame. Great condition, but does have 2 cracks in glass as pictured but is sturdily framed and not loose does not affect functionality of piece, hard to notice unless just looking them. The white circle at the bottom intentionally sticks out in a diamond point look and is beautiful!

Large panel Size 33″ x 11″ approx. This window features clear iridescent falling leaves, a clear swirled cathedral background glass with a swirled opaque blue outside border. This is also available in fall colors (see other listing). This window can be hung horizontal or vertical. Please specify if you would like vertical hooks, otherwise they will be placed horizontal. First, Linda chooses each piece of glass for beautiful color and drama. Additional glass is chosen to add texture and sparkle to the design. In a time extensive process, one by one, each piece of glass is hand cut, fitted, wrapped in foil or lead came and soldered. The window is framed in sturdy zinc with hooks included at the top. This panel is built with the copper foil and lead came technique and black patina is applied. With a sturdy zinc frame and then. Last, the panel is buffed and polished with glass wax.
