Beautiful geometric Duffner & Kimberly leaded glass lamp c 1907. Lamp is wired correctly and ready to use. Black twisted cloth cord with built in on/off and dimmer in line really help set your lighting just as you like it, bright for reading, dimmer for TV time. Saves on pulling the chains as well on sockets. LOOK at the patina it’s amazing top to bottom. Lamp is 23 tall. 7.5 wide foot. Shade 19 x 9. 3 P&S sockets with newer insides for safety. This glass used in the shade, it lights up beautiful. The geometric shades are underrated and for no good reason. This is just as gorgeous as a floral one, depends on what your tastes are. Duffner and Kimberly Leaded Stained Glass geometric lamp. Shade is comprised of beautiful yellow green glass and 19 in diameter. I have had a couple of these and this shade has the best glass I have seen used in one. Shade has 2 adjoining panels with a crack in each but both are tight and will cause no issues. Base is 24 tall to the top of the finial and has a nice dark brown patina. Lamp has been rewired with replica antique cord. Antique Wilkinson Leaded Glass Lamp Duffner Handel Tiffany Era. Hello and thank you for looking. For you consideration is a beautiful original early 20th century leaded glass lamp made by Wilkinson. Both the shade and base can be seen in the Wilkinson chapter of Mosaic Shades Volume 2. The shade features a largely geometric design with a floral pattern along the bottom. The 2 narrows geometric rows at the bottom rim and 2 inches above the rim feature some lovely granite backed glass that has some lovely orange and cream mottling (please see second picture). The shade measures a full 18 and is in truly excellent condition with just a few, if any, tiny heat cracks. The base is without question one of the most attractive and most desirable bases Wilkinson made. There is no loss to the beautiful dark patina, and the base is in excellent condition. I had not noticed until taking pictures for this listing, but there is a surface crack that goes around the neck of the base (please see second to last pic). Because of the location of the crack it is almost completely hidden, and can only be seen in you get below the lamp and look up at it. The base stands an impressive 27 tall. Up for sale is a matched pair of Duffner Kimberly leaded glass lamps. Not only is this a rare model but they are a pair that came from a home on Long Island that was decorated originally by Duffner. The last picture shows this model in Mosaic Shades Vol 2 and also in an original Duffner & Kimberly catalog. They measure 18″ in diameter and stand 23.5″ tall. They both have an amber background with purple garland and top with green accents. The medallions are cameo cut with a dark background, green design and accented with purple. Both of the lamps have gold finish bases. They each have 4 candelabra sockets and an on/off switch in the top of the base. I will try to give condition reports on each lamp separately. The 1st lamp has a polished base. The shade looks to be all original with no replaced glass. There are approximately 6 pieces with cracks. The 4 candles are a rolled paper type material. All 4 sockets work fine. The 2nd lamp has a more warm gold finish and looks to have a replaced on/off switch. The 4 candles are a plastic material with 2 of them having some cracking and slight loss. The shade has approximately 8 cracks. Both shades are in good overall condition with the minimal cracks that are not concentrated in 1 area. The pictures that show the 2 side by side appear to look like the lamps lean to 1 side or the other. That is just an optical illusion. They both stand straight. These are guaranteed to be early, original Duffner & Kimberly lamps. Price is for both lamps. Please don’t hesitate to request additional information. Its in excellent original condition and it measures 15 inches tall by 26 inches wide. It has a great 6 socket cluster as you can see from the photos and its in fine working order. The leading all tight and right and i see no repairs. Its got a couple of tight age/heat stress’s in the glass which is appropriate for its age. Great patina on the hardware as well. This is a great lamp folks and very very seldom seen and then you add in the savings of not having to pay a large buyers premium on top and it makes it a must have lol. When was the last time you saw a Duffner and Kimberly. Please Check out my other items! Some great Bradley and Hubbard, Tiffany, Handel, etc. Etc & other quality makers. ANTIQUE SIGNED LEADED GLASS SHADE AND BASE HANDEL LAMP. BASE HAS A NICE BROWN PATINA SIGNED ON BOTTOM, HANDEL WITH THE NUMBER 658 AND HAS BEEN REWIRED WITH APPROPRIATE BROWN CLOTH CORD. HAS ORIGINAL CAP AND FINIAL AND ACORN PULLS FOR THE TWO SOCKETS. BASE LOOKS GREAT WITH NO ISSUES. ALSO HAS A WONDERFUL LEADED GLASS SHADE THAT REMINDS ME OF A PINK DOGWOOD TREE FLOWER BUT THAT IS ONLY MY OPINION. ALSO FLOWERS LOOK BRIGHTER PINK LIT UP THAN HOW IT LOOKS IN PICTURE.
