This Beautiful Stained Glass window is from the top of a “bay” window & dates from the 1920’s & 30’s. The measurements are 15″ x 9.75″ Glass size & 18.5″ x 13.25″ Overall including the frame. The colors in this window are purple and green. Most of the glass is slightly obscured. The glass is in perfect condition with no cracks or breaks. The frame while in good shape will always be less than perfect & can be hung as is, re-painted, stripped or stained to suit your decor. ANTIQUE LEADED GLASS WINDOW COAL REGION of PA 1920s nice NO CRACKS
Very nice leaded glass window from the Scranton PA area. The area this was removed from is predominantly mining homes. This was probably a mine management workers home. It is very unique and pretty. Almost every house had a window and the higher ups in the company got the better unique windows. THERE ARE NO CRACKS WHATSOEVER. (bottom sill 1 3/4). Glass area: 16″ by 36″. PLEASE SEE ALL THE PHOTOS! The FRAME is solid but it does have a small amount of WOOD LOSS on left and right sides of frame predominantly on the outside face. Condition: One panel intact; one panel missing several small glass pieces. Use: Cabinet doors, sidelights, décor, restoration projects. Region of Manufacture: United States. Construction: Hand-soldered lead, original age patina. 12″ × 10″ each (within 0.25 variance). Authenticity Evidence: Lead oxidation, hand-solder joints, early glass cuts. Matched pair of early 20th century leaded glass window panels, salvaged from a 1920s-40s American Tudor/Colonial Revival interior. Each panel features hand-cut clear glass, oval bullseye centers, and period Gothic tracery. One panel is fully intact; the other has missing pieces. Lead came, bullseyes, and main structure remain solid.
