I have for sale and WITHOUT RESERVE, this super nice and full sized Handel arts and crafts leaded lamp. This is a supercool lamp folks so pay attention lol. This lamp is in very good overall condition and needs no excuses. The Rare footed base and yes i said rare because it is, in very good original condition and presents itself very well as you can see. It also has three matching Hubbell sockets all in matching patina With matching acorn pulls, and its also been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. Now onto the shade. The shade in great coloration with Very vibrant glass and in a excellent arts and crafts/prairie style design. The shade is excellent original condition and needing zero excuses. The leading all tight and right throughout and no loose glass pieces. The pictures as you see them is from three 7 watt bulbs thats it. Not 15, 25, 40s or 60s just 7s. Thats how vibrant this glass is. I would not recommend anything higher than a 15 watt because it would not compliment the glass coloration. It would be a little too bright i think but thats just my preference i guess. This is also a larger than normal lamp measuring in 25 inches tall with the shade being 20.5 inches wide. I have for sale this very nice arts and crafts style signed periwinkle Handel leaded lamp. The tree trunk base is one of handels most desired bases they ever made and you can see why. The base measures 25 inches tall and the shade is 20 inches wide, so this is a large full sized lamp folks. Most of these periwinkles come in 16 inch shades, not the larger and more desirable 20 inch sizes like this one. The base without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. The patina excellent throughout the base and the base also retains it original hubbell sockets and acorn pulls that work flawlessly. The shade also in original condition with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. A few stray tight age cracks, 2-3 or so, here or there as would be expected for a leaded shade such as, especially with the shade having several hundred pieces in the making process such as this. The glass vibrant and alive as the pictures show and all the leading intact. Excellent original patina on the leading throughout as well, please see photos. The shade signed on the inside, please see photo, and the base also signed with original felt cloth bottom and cloth Handel tag. By the way, I only used 7 watt bulbs to give you some idea how good the glass lights up. Simply a great period handel lamp in excellent overall condition.
