ANTIQUE GOTHIC FIRED LEADED STAINED GLASS CHURCH WINDOWS, KITES, SET(2) PHILA PA. THE PICTURES WILL SAY MORE THAN WORDS CAN. Very nice set of kites from the Philadelphia area. Exact church is unknown. MEASUREMENTS ARE OBVIOUSLY DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU MEASURE THESE. THEY ARE EACH SLIGHTLY LESS THAN 32.5 long. EACH MEASURING ABOUT 8.25 wide. THESE MEASUREMENTS ARE OF A GENERAL NATURE… Lead is fractions greater and less depending on where you measure. PHOTOS# 6,7,8 and 9 show examples of tight cracks… There are several located on each kite. LEAD IS STRONG, these are in great condition, not at all falling apart. It is highly recommended. THERE ARE NO SUPPORT RODS, there is evidence that support bars existed at one time. SOME OF THE CRACKS HAVE EVIDENCE OF BEING GLUED OR EPOXIED. See pictures #10 and 11. Thanks for your interest! ANTIQUE FIRED LEADED STAINED GLASS CHURCH WINDOW. VERY NICE ANTIQUE WINDOW, HANDPAINTED FIRED GLASS. THIS IS ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE FROM A DEMOLITION PROJECT AT A PHILADELPHIA AREA CHURCH/SCHOOL. Exact address is available to buyers… Feel free to ask! THERE ARE TWO IRON SUPPORT BARS. THERE IS NO WOOD FRAMING… Framing is highly recommended. THIS WINDOW IS VERY STRONG AND DURABLE… Even after almost 100 years! PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS! This glass is textured, see pictures! I SEE NO BROKEN GLASS WHATSOEVER, there may be a crack or two in the blue border glass… But there’s nothing obvious. P combined with X is Christos in Latin. IHS in Latin means “Jesus Christ savior of the world”. The “A” signifies ALPHA which is the beginning. Some interesting lore here… Word is that a Roman emperor in battle had a vision of. (In Latin) : In Hoc Signo Vinces… (In this sign you will conquer). He did in fact conquer, and the persecution of Christians began to diminish. Feel free to ask questions! Thanks for your interest! ANTIQUE STAINED LEADED GLASS WINDOW, PHILADELPHIA PA, EARLY 1900s. Architectural salvage from a commercial building, rescued from a demolition project in Philadelphia. Features (2) separate windows, each measuring about 14″ by 16.25″. 40 5/16″ BY 21 5/16″. FRAME IS ABOUT 1 5/8 THICK. PHOTOS 5, and 6 show a tight crack in 2 small glass tiles, very unnoticeable unless you are looking, or also visible at a certain angle. Frame is VERY COOL, and is strong. THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST! FULLY BEVELED ANTIQUE LEADED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW, FLEUR DE LIS, 1920s PHILA PA. Architectural salvage from the greater Philadelphia area. Fully beveled antique transom window, fleur de lis design. Leaded in zinc, there is only one small imperfection within this window… A tiny corner beveled tile is shattered. It is not loose or falling apart, the size of this tile is 2 inches square.
