Antique Stained Glass Window With Roses 30 X 30 Architectural Salvage

This is a great window that was found in southeastern PA. The background is mostly pale yellow with bands of clear distorted glass. There are 3 roses at the top. There are no cracks or breaks. One side has lead fleur de lis at some of the solder joints. The original frame was painted but most of the paint has been stripped. It measures 29.75 inches wide by 30 tall and is. 1.5 inches thick. The glass only measures approximately 26 by 24 inches. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. The glazing putty will need to be touched up. There is some light bowing. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! THIS WINDOW IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. From the Anthracite coal mine region of northeast Pennsylvania, this window is a common design specific to the area. Removed during a renovation project, the home was most likely a company house associated with the coal mine. THIS PARTICULAR WINDOW WAS SALVAGED NEAR THE FAMOUS CITY OF CENTRALIA PA. Measures approximately: 19.5″ by 44 1/8″. Glass area only measurements: 16″ by 40″. Frame is approximately 1 5/16″ thick (1 13/16″ at bottom sill). I DO NOT SEE ANY CRACKS OR DAMAGE. THERE MAY BE A HAIRLINE CRACK HIDDEN IN THE BORDER GLASS, BUT I SEE NONE IN STRONG LIGHTING. #4 shows outside face of window. #3 shows inside face of window. #2 shows close up of 1 rose… #5 shows original hasp. This as found 100+ year old attic discovery from a late 1800s church measures 39 x 59 with its massive original painted wooden sash; 34 x 54 (sight) and features heavy leading (wide) in the best Gothic tradition with painted floral and foliate details over traditional colored glass. The main field is colorless glass with TONS of bubbles (making it look truly ancient) framing a rose mandorla painted with two figures, presumably saints. The vertical side panels have bold roses. You will note a pronounced bulge/sag in the large center area in spite of sturdy bar reinforcement and numerous fine/tight cracks in the glass with no obvious loss. It is dirty and will be a true gem when the grime is removed to reveal the gorgeous colors.
