C 1905 Unique Art Glass co. What makes these lamps are the art glasses used in making them. You can find Periwinkle Unique Art lamps but the ones with the right glass explode with beauty when lit! LOOK at the top glass Tiffany used the same glass that’s on the top geometric part of this shade. I think I saw one hairline fracture in one of the green leaves that’s it and that’s from heat normal wear, better than normal it’s amazing! Shade is 16″ wide 9″ deep. Base is gorgeous as well with appropriate cap with attached finial. 3 Eagle sockets with satellite pull chains. Nice brown cloth cord & vintage style plug. I have for sale without reserve this very nice arts and crafts style signed periwinkle Handel leaded lamp. The tree trunk base is one of handels most desired bases they ever made and you can see why. The base measures 25 inches tall and the shade is 20 inches wide, so this is a large full sized lamp folks. Most of these periwinkles come in 16 inch shades, not the larger and more desirable 20 inch sizes like this one. The base without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. The patina excellent throughout the base and the base also retains it original hubbell sockets and acorn pulls that work flawlessly. The base alone is a 1,000.00 very desirable base tree form base. The shade also in original condition with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. A few stray tight age cracks, 2-3 or so, here or there as would be expected for a leaded shade such as, especially with the shade having several hundred pieces in the making process such as this. The glass vibrant and alive as the pictures show and all the leading intact. Excellent original patina on the leading throughout as well, please see photos. The shade signed on the inside, please see photo, and the base also signed with original felt cloth bottom and cloth Handel tag. By the way, I only used 7 watt bulbs to give you some idea how good the glass lights up. Simply a great period handel lamp in excellent overall condition. The sockets and pull chains are in fine working order and the base has recently been rewired with a period appropriate cloth cord and plug. The contemporary shade is full sized measuring in at 18 inches and is in very good condition as well with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. The leading throughout tight and right, and the glass of good quality. Also, as you can see, this shade lights up super well and its even better in person. No damage to speak of as to the shade. This particular lamp base is extremely early, made of bronze/brass, This was originally copper plated and that it why you see the spectacular rich patina throughout t his base. You can see that the green patina starts from underneath the base all the way to its very unique Handel finial. This kind of a patina took over a hundred years to develop, so if you are looking for that rare heavily patina lamp this may be the one for you. The lamp stands 23 1/2 tall and of course it has its original Hubbell sockets and acorn chain pulls, has been rewired at some time. This Bradley and Hubbard beanpot base i s the most sought after b and h base there is and (SHADE IS FOR DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT FOR SALE) measures 22.5 inches tall, with the base being without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. It has a two socket socket cluster and The patina nicely aged throughout with only minor blemishes here or there but very minor in that respect and to be expected for a 100 year old base. The base signed on the top with the B&H triangle stamp. Please notice the three mounting pieces consisting of the shade rest, the cap, and the finial. C 1910 J A Whaley leaded glass lamp. Here we have a super fine rare Whaley leaded lamp. There was a lot of work put into building this beauty! Much of the glass is bent and that’s not an easy task with this much detail! As always pictures do this no justice! In person the sparkly red highlights really light up! The shade I believe to be a very early Whaley. And it is in great shape! No looseness no separations. Maybe 1-2 hairlines I can’t find. The base all original Whaley base with wheel & cap with attached finial. Base is one of the best I’ve seen as far as patina even over all of base nice chocolate brown. Details: Wired with a black twisted cloth cord in line dimmer on / off switch. 3 Webber Fat Boy paddle sockets all working. Stands 24″ tall foot is 9″. Shade is 20″ at widest place and 8″ deep. C 1910 Mosaic Shade Co. (Chicago) leaded glass lamp. Foot is 8 wide. Shade 18″ wide 8″ deep. 3 Bryant Satellite pull chains. Period style brown cloth cord & plug. Has Tiffany like patina (enlarge pics of the base you’ll see) beautiful best I’ve ever seen on a Mosaic base. Hardware on top definitely Identifies the maker as well as matching cap & finial 100% Mosaic Shade co. Not all their lamps were made with caps adhered to the shade some were open as this one with cast bronze caps. I believe this to be a very old Mosaic lamp. In very good ANTIQUE condition. Some hairlines here and there nothing damaging to showing of the shade. Part of true 100 year plus lamps. Most true Tiffany’s are peppered with hairline fractures. Fair price make your offers fair! The shade measuring in at 16 inches wide and the base 21.5 inches tall. Both shade and base without issue which means for the base no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. The base has been recently rewired with a period appropriate cloth cord and plug along with two good working sockets. There is a ding in the lower portion of the base and i photographed it so take a look. Nothing horrible for a 100 year old base and really doesnt detract from the overall appearance but i wanted to mention it anyways. The shade in very good condition as well, with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. The glass in mottled or spotted form and is superb when lit. The leading throughout tight and right, and the patina nice as well. The glass of great quality and this lights up way way better than my photos are showing.
