ANTIQUE STAINED LEADED GLASS WINDOW, SCRANTON PA CHURCH, 1930s. Architectural salvage from an church demolition project, unknown location, Scranton PA church. MEASUREMENTS ARE APPROXIMATE, MOST LIKELY WITHIN 1/8… This window is a little bit difficult to get exact measurements. (framed) 41 1/16″ wide, by about 33.5″ tall. GLASS AREA ONLY MEASUREMENTS. 39.25″ by 31 3/8″ tall. FRAME IS ABOUT 2.5 thick. (not including the latch). THERE ARE 4 IRON SUPPORTS, THE FRAME IS MADE OF ALUMINUM. THIS WINDOW IS VERY HEAVY.. THE PROTECTIVE GLASS ON OPPOSING SIDE. IS WHAT ADDS TO THE WEIGHT. THERE ARE A FEW TIGHT CRACKS, NOT LOOSE OR FALLING APART. WINDOW IS SOLID AND STRONG. See pictures #3,4, and 5 for examples. Window was built by J. Sussman of Jamaica NY. Window is believed to be from the 1930s. This window was in storage over 20 yearsin a climate controlled warehouse. Beveled glass side lights

Great set of beveled glass side lights circa 1914. These have been professionally restored and reframed. Oval focal point with a wheel cut star in the center. There are 41 pieces of beveled glass in each window plus 18 Pieces of ripple glass surrounding the center of bevels. Nice and tight all re-soldered and reputtied. Sizes are 19 inches wide by 63 1/2 inches in height. We are B&R Salvage of Youngstown Ohio and I’ve been saving the beautiful pieces of the past for 30 years. It will take anywhere from 5 to 6 weeks. ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS Windows Crest NYC ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE. Look at the pictures window is a bit bowed out as shown. They most came out of either a Church or Rectory type building in NYC Just after WWII. Obviously they are quite older than that. Gentleman who gave them to me to sell is a friend. He salvaged them along with about 20 other windows on the 1st big job he every worked on as a contractor. Was in NYC just after WWII. He worked on the job for a few weeks, 10+ hours a day, at the end of the job, the head contractor thanked him. This is what’s left. I recommend coming out and seeing it. ANTIQUE GOTHIC STAINED GLASS CHURCH WINDOW SET(2), TOMBSTONE SHAPE PHILADELPHIA. Rescued from a demolition project at a downtown Philadelphia church, this is a really interesting set of church windows. THESE ARE OVER 120 YEARS OLD, THEY ARE IN OVERALL GOOD SHAPE, BUT NOT PERFECT! The first one (one with wood repair). 10 3/8″ wide, by about 27.5″ tall. And is about 1 13/16 thick. This one has 2 red jewels and 1 red tile. Replaced a missing jewel. This window has 1 repaired crack(lead over). And 1 tiny crack remains. 10 5/16″ wide, by about 27 7/16″ tall. And is about 1 13/16 thick. I don’t see any cracks in this window. This window has one original jewel, and two red replaced tiles where jewels were missing. THERE MAY BE A HIDDEN CHIP OR CRACK IN ONE OR EITHER WINDOW, I LOOKED AT THEM IN STRONG LIGHTING.. FRAME CONSTRUCTION IS MORTISE AND TENON. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS! #6 shows an original jewel. #7 shows red replaced tile. #8 shows rigged wood repair. #9,10 shows mortise and tenon frame.
