Antique Fully Beveled Non Geometric Leaded Circular Glass Centerpiece Window
ANTIQUE FULLY BEVELED NON GEOMETRIC LEADED CIRCULAR GLASS CENTERPIECE WINDOW. ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE FROM THE REMNANTS OF A NOW CLOSED STAINED GLASS WINDOW RETAILER. THIS WINDOW WAS MOST LIKELY BUILT AROUND 1940. THERE ARE NO CRACKS WHATSOEVER. Flat bar to flat bar, exactly 12 1/16. Lead to lead, 12 3/16. Window is about 1/4 thick. IT EVEN HAS POTENTIAL TO REST ON A WINDOW SILL. WOULD LOOK TREMENDOUS INSTALLED IN A FRONT DOOR… LEAD IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. ALMOST NEW OLD STOCK. GLASS COULD HAVE A LIGHT SCRATCH HERE OR THERE, BUT DEFINITELY NOT ANYTHING NOTICEABLE. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF A SHARD OF GLASS OR TWO, STILL STUCK IN THE LEAD SURROUND, DUE TO REMOVAL. THIS WINDOW IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. From the Anthracite coal mine region of northeast Pennsylvania, this window is a common design specific to the area. Removed during a renovation project, the home was most likely a company house associated with the coal mine. THIS PARTICULAR WINDOW WAS SALVAGED NEAR THE FAMOUS CITY OF CENTRALIA PA. Measures approximately: 19.5″ by 44 1/8″. Glass area only measurements: 16″ by 40″. Frame is approximately 1 5/16″ thick (1 13/16″ at bottom sill). I DO NOT SEE ANY CRACKS OR DAMAGE. THERE MAY BE A HAIRLINE CRACK HIDDEN IN THE BORDER GLASS, BUT I SEE NONE IN STRONG LIGHTING. #4 shows outside face of window. #3 shows inside face of window. #2 shows close up of 1 rose… #5 shows original hasp. Removed during a renovation project, the home was most likely a company house associated with the coal mine. Measures approximately: 19 1/8″ by 48″. Glass area only measurements: 16″ by 44″. Frame is approximately 1 5/16 thick. (1 5/8 at sill). I SEE ONE CRACK IN THE TEXTURED GLASS. THERE MAY BE A HAIRLINE CRACK HIDDEN IN THE BORDER GLASS, BUT I SEE NONE IN STRONG LIGHTING. #5 shows beveled glass centerpiece. #8 shows original mortise and tenon frame. #4 shows hardware(original hasp). #1 shows the outside face. #2 shows WAVY glass. #3 shows the inside face. #6, and #7 show different glass textures.
