Antique Stained Glass Transom Window Full Beveled Etched 40 X 16 Salvage

This is a great window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian. All the glass is beveled all the way around and the central oval has a wheel cut etched starburst. There are no cracks or breaks. The original oak frame is painted on the outside. It measures 40 inches wide by 16 tall and is. 1.75 inch thick. The glass only measures approximately 36 by 12 inches. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. There is a little paint on the glass. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! THIS WINDOW IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. From the Anthracite coal mine region of northeast Pennsylvania, this window is a common design specific to the area. Removed during a renovation project, the home was most likely a company house associated with the coal mine. THIS PARTICULAR WINDOW WAS SALVAGED NEAR THE FAMOUS CITY OF CENTRALIA PA. Measures approximately: 19.5″ by 44 1/8″. Glass area only measurements: 16″ by 40″. Frame is approximately 1 5/16″ thick (1 13/16″ at bottom sill). I DO NOT SEE ANY CRACKS OR DAMAGE. THERE MAY BE A HAIRLINE CRACK HIDDEN IN THE BORDER GLASS, BUT I SEE NONE IN STRONG LIGHTING. #4 shows outside face of window. #3 shows inside face of window. #2 shows close up of 1 rose… #5 shows original hasp. ANTIQUE ORIGINAL STAINED LEADED GLASS WINDOW, EARLY 1900s, PA COAL TOWN. AMAZING ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS WINDOW IN GREAT SHAPE FOR AGE…. RESCUED FROM A DEMOLITION PROJECT AT A HOME IN NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA. HOME WAS NESTLED IN AND AMONGST MINERS HOUSES, VERY CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE COAL BREAKER. FEATURES: BEVELED, ETCHED CENTERPIECE HAMMERED TEXTURED TILES ZINC CAMING ORIGINAL MORTISE AND TENON FRAME. Measures approximately: 19 3/8″ BY 41″ BY 1 3/8. 36″ by 16″ (glass only). Cracks are completely normal for windows 100 plus years old. I DONT SEE ANY… There may be one in the edge glass, but i see none. NOTE: THIS WINDOW IS SUPERB… IF I HAD TO LOOK FOR ANY FLAWS, THE ZINC CAMING IS NOT PERFECT AT THE WOODEN FRAME’S EDGE. AND THERES A TINY AMOUNT OF HOUSEPAINT ON EDGES OF THE GLASS. This beautiful beveled glass window. Was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. All the glass is beveled all the way around. There is a flower in the middle and all 4 petals have wheel cut etched starbursts. There are no cracks or breaks. It is in a new pine frame that is ready for stain or paint. Measurements are 56 inches wide, almost 26 tall and 1.5 thick. The glass only is appx 51.5 by 21.5. Overall, it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning but should clean up nicely. The glass and zinc were completely painted over when we got it. We removed most of it but there is still some paint on both the zinc and glass. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. This beautiful beveled glass window. Was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. All the glass is beveled all the way around, the central oval and 2 end diamonds have wheel cut etched starbursts. It is in a new pine frame that is ready for paint or stain. Measurements are 69.5 inches wide, 12 tall and 1.5 thick. The glass only is appx 65.5 by 8.25. Overall, it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning but should clean up nicely. There is 1 tight hairline. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.
