Antique Cobalt Blue Iron Frame Church Stained Glass Memorial Window Nyc 1940

Very nice cobalt blue window. In very good condition for age. Salvage from the Bronx section NYC. Frame is 7/8 thick (iron). This window is incredibly strong and has 2 iron rod supports. Glass is textured wavy and full of imperfections. Window has no visible cracks. Could possibly be one hidden in the edge border, but I looked good and there are no issues. There is a hoop welded to the frame on top. FRAME IS SOLID AND STRONG ENOUGH TO LAST ANOTHER HUNDRED YEARS.. But it does have some pitting in the metal. Some people would want to have the light blue tile inscribed with a dedication or memorial.. Or leave as is. It’s a VERY PRETTY window. This window is not lightweight. It weighs about 20 lbs. Antique or old vintage leaded stained and slag glass window, with painted “Moritz Weiss”. It is 23 1/4″ tall, it is 23 1/2″ wide (not including pegs on sides), with pegs it is 24 wide. 1″ depth without hardware, including hardeware it is 1 1/4″ depth. Weighs 17 lbs 14 oz. It has 4 cracked red panels. (shown in pics nothing is missing) Iron frame is original, it is used and aged. Please see pictures for details and condition.

1930's Arts & Crafts Chain Drop Iron & Leaded Glass Porch/Entryway Light Fixture

Wrought iron exterior frame cleaned, lightly sanded, and then painted with a base coat and two finish coats in Arcrylic black. New socket and wiring, new heavy duty (up to 50 lbs) chain and mounting/ceiling collar hardware. Lamp is 14″ tall and 12″ wide. Chain is 6′ long with a total drop from ceiling to bottom of fixture approximately 7’2. Chain can be shortened for your needs. Shade weighs 14+ lbs and measures 14″ tall and 12″ wide. Shade is made from 8 Separate handmade lead and stain glass panels. Estimating the date of this fixture from the 1920’s-30’s based on the old pull chain socket that was replaced. The shade has four wrought iron curly cues decorating the top of the shade. Over the years, 3 of the 4 welds to these decorative pieces had popped. (My guess for the damage is where people picked up the heavy shade by the decorative curls). The curls were reattached using short machine metal screws. This repair is shown in the photos. There are no cracks in the stained glass. The old lead in each panel has some light grayer spotted areas from age/weather. This is a very unique light and would be great for an entry way, covered porch or a room needing a statement. I believe this design style of lamp is considered Arts & Crafts or Mission style. The shade throws a colored geometric design when on and the area is dark. Colors of the stain glass are soft yellow gold, cobalt blue and small hints of orange in each panel. This fixture will have the chain removed and packed separately. Please let me know if you have questions or need additional photos.

LARGE ANTIQUE GREEN WAVY GLASS STAINED LEADED IRON FRAMED CHURCH WINDOW. ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE FROM THE COAL MINE REGION OF NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA. Exact church location is unknown. 24″ tall, by about 45 3/8″ wide not including rivets that stick out on each side. (rivets and top frame edge stick out about 3/8). Frame is around 2.25 thick, plus hardware. GLASS AREA ONLY MEASUREMENTS. 22.5″ by 45″. THERE IS A RIDGE ON TOP AND BOTTOM. OF THE LARGER GREEN GLASS TILES, I ONLY SEE ONE WITH TIGHT CRACKS. There are tight cracks in and amongst the smaller edge border tiles. (photos 6 and 9 are showing the same crack). THE ANTIQUE WAVY GLASS ITSELF IS QUITE VALUABLE. HARD TO FIND AUTHENTIC ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS LIKE THIS. Being encased in iron is very heavy. THERE ARE 3 IRON RODS SUPPORTING THIS PANEL. Copper ties are attached to each. Antique leaded glass transom window with painted panels, 28 1/2″ by 14 1/2″ by 3/4 iron frame with two horizontal stabilizing bars. A harmonious combination of slag glass in robin’s egg, aqua, turquoise and other blues accented in cream and caramel swirls. Painted fleur de lys flank the center rectangular panel which would be the perfect place to paint your house number in black if mounting the panel over a front door. The rigid iron frame has kept the lead came and glass pieces in place. The putty around the edge is in need of a re-do. There are four panels of the outer ring of blue glass that have cracks. We do have a slightly larger matching transom window listed separately if this one is too small. From the eclectic estate of a local collector. Fine antique peony flower leaded stained glass lamp with cast iron base

Fine antique peony flower leaded stained glass lamp with cast iron base. As found and looks to be a marriage of an old shade to an inexpensive old base. Base has a rusted patina replaced sockets with newer chain pulls. No cap above sockets and a replaced finial. Set up is adequate for immediate use. Shade is made from a colorful assortment of stained glass. The background slag glass has a nice mix of aqua blues and greens. Shade measures 9″ x 15 1/2″. Lamp measures 24tall to top of finial. 3 minor blemishes to the glass mostly in the same area of the skirt. 2 are short hairline cracks. The other a surface flake in the flower petal that may have been an original irregularity in the glass.
