VERY NICE LARGE SIZE ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS WINDOW SALVAGED FROM NORTHERN NJ/NYC AREA. THIS WINDOW IS SOLID AND WELL BUILT. (like a church window). I SEE ALMOST NO CRACKS.. I see one that was repaired in the outside border glass see photo #5. There may be hidden cracks.. But I went over it with a strong light several times. THERE MAY BE TINY CRACKS IN THE THIN WHITE BORDER. 32 1/8″ by 50 3/4″ by 1 3/4 thick. Glass only area measurements. 28 1/8″ by 47 3/8″ approx. THERE ARE 4 STRONG SUPPORT BARS. CAULKING IS MOSTLY MISSING. CUSTOMER MAY WANT TO REPAINT FRAME. FRAME IS ORIGINAL AND STRONG… GLASS IS CRAZY WAVY… See photos 2 and 3. These pieces were usually at the side of a door or a landing window, or sometimes just a larger than usual top window. The sizes are 13.25″ x 28.25″ Glass & 15.75″ x 30.75″ overall including the frame. The colors are Streaky Green/Blue, Streaky Blue, Amber and shades of Red. If you are familiar with barrister or lawyer’s bookcase, you know the small half size is much harder to find. A rarer size than the typical size of 34 inches wide this piece is 17 wide. Neat quartered oak piece as it also has a drawer in the bottom and leaded glass in the top door. Piece has been refinished and has a smooth even finish. Overall 17 wide, 12 deep, and 57 high. Note the’bullnose’ top as was typical of the Globe-Wernicke bookcases. The bottom section is 13 1/2, the next section up is an 11 1/2, and the top two sections are the 9 1/2 size; a graduated size bookcase. Neat cabinet ready for your office or home. Photo one is a copy I had made of the leaded light in photo two. (The copy was made to size 553 x 415mm). This listing is mainly intended to give you an idea of the quality I can provide and the cost. If you send me an image and your measurements I will be able to confirm a price. The glass used in your copy will probably not be identical though the texture and colour will be a good match. If you look closely between photos one and two you will see the glass is not identical. However in this example the customer wanted the central petal to be blue and wanted the background glass to be obscured. Please note I cannot provide wooden frames – only the leaded light. Production takes 4 – 6 weeks from receiving your deposit and your design being confirmed. If you do not want an exact copy of the image you have referenced then I will supply you with a technical drawing incorporating the changes you have requested for your approval. You will also have the opportunity to revise your measurements and I can advise how to do this accurately. You pay the balance on collection or prior to despatch when I show you a photo of your newly made leaded light(s). Those are for my reclaimed (salvaged) leaded lights and stained glass. Even if you find something reclaimed which is the right size and has no damaged glass consider if its lead structure some are age 90+ years! Is suitably robust for your needs.
