ANTIQUE BEVELED GLASS SIDELIGHT TRANSOM WINDOW, early 1900s. THE PICTURES TELL THE STORY. From a coal mining town in central eastern Pennsylvania, this is a really nice antique antique window. THERE ARE NO CRACKS. MEASURES APPROXIMATELY: 62″ BY 12″ (framed). Measurements of glass only area: about 57″ by 8″. FRAME IS ABOUT 1.5 THICK. BEVELING IS THICK, HEAVY, GLISTENING WITH THE LIGHT. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF LIGHT SCRATCHES see photo #3, these may be able to get buffed out, I left it as original, and I don’t think it takes away from the beauty of this window. WINDOW IS ALL ORIGINAL IN “AS FOUND” CONDITION. IT WAS SCRUBBED AND WASHED. CAULK IS IN POOR CONDITION, PAINT IS SCARCE, AND CHIPPY WHITE. THERE IS A SMALL AMOUNT OF HOUSEPAINT ON EDGES, FROM YEARS OF USE. I DO NOT KNOW THE HISTORY OF THIS WINDOW.
