Pair of Art Nouveau stained glass windows in painted leaded glass, Italy, late 19th-early 20th century. Borders with frieze of laurel leaves, internal part with curls and leaf scrolls. At the center of the windows, placed within an oval, two landscapes are depicted: one of a river, with boats and houses, the other of classical style, with ruins and a girl placed near a body of water. 19th Century / 1801 – 1900. This is a fantastic looking antique, 19th Century stained glass window. The portion in the center is hand painted and kiln fired. It depicts an amazing castle on a mountain top. The quality of the artwork in this center section is phenomenal. The overall size of this piece is 12″ x 16″. The center portion with the castle measures approximately 9″ tall x 5 1/2″ wide. It has some minor wear from age and use in the leaded area but overall is in very good antique condition and looks incredible. Please see photos for condition and design and please ask questions.
