Probably Teco Pottery an American Terracotta Tile and Ceramic Company founded in 1881. American leaded glass shade with beautiful pottery base. Condition: The shade has 15 glass pieces with cracks from which only 2 are serious crack the other 13 are hard to see. In good condition with a few cracks to the glass pieces (see pictures). Original origin and full provenance unknown. Provenance: Private collection New York. They can range in price depending on size and type of item. RARE MUSEUM QUALITY EARLY 17th C. FLEMISH STAINED GLASS WINDOW PANEL. UNIQUE AND RARE especially as it is NON RELIGIOUS IN DESIGN. This period of STAINED GLASS WORK – mid 17th c. Is considered by Experts To Be the ZENITH of this sublime art form. & It has been carefully stored, since 1940 by my family. On sale here is one SINGLE PANEL – A Colorful and Dynamic Heraldic Coat of Arms with Orange Fish, which upon further investigatiom were actually two pairs of Sharks. The lower left shark can clearly be seen to have a symbiotic relationship going with a remora. What was the affiliation of this family’s Coat of Arms to the sea? Please note: This panel is in near excellent condition, though after almost 500 years, it is fragile. There is a crack in the narrow outer border of clear glass. It has no effect on the value. THERE ARE NO CRACKS. MEASURES APPROXIMATELY: 62″ BY 12″ (framed). Measurements of glass only area: about 57″ by 8″. FRAME IS ABOUT 1.5 THICK. BEVELING IS THICK, HEAVY, GLISTENING WITH THE LIGHT. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF LIGHT SCRATCHES see photo #3, these may be able to get buffed out, I left it as original, and I don’t think it takes away from the beauty of this window. WINDOW IS ALL ORIGINAL IN “AS FOUND” CONDITION. IT WAS SCRUBBED AND WASHED. CAULK IS IN POOR CONDITION, PAINT IS SCARCE, AND CHIPPY WHITE. THERE IS A SMALL AMOUNT OF HOUSEPAINT ON EDGES, FROM YEARS OF USE. I DO NOT KNOW THE HISTORY OF THIS WINDOW. This one of a kind vintage framed arched stained glass window that has a beautiful classic sun burst design. The combination of sea green opalescent rays with purple and gold glass highlights is especially beautiful when lite. The dark wood around the frame is believed to be original and the lighter frame added later to help reinforce the window and to add a finish look. It has lead channels to reinforce the stained glass. The stained glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks in the glass. The outside of the frame measures 71.5 inches wide by 29.5 inches tall. The inner frame is a dark mahogany color and it has a lighter frame around the edge. The glass is 63 inches by 22 inches at widest points. Please give us 48 hours to get back to you.
